"We have lost signal! We have lost signal!" said Alessandro Rodrigo, a few hours after all of the systems of segment 5 failed. More danger was about to commence.
Chapter 1
A British man in his 20s-30s, Mason Argall, used to be a C++ programmer at ESA, always programming voyagers. However, he regrets ever doing the job, and regrets that he never searched for a new job because, well, his boss never wants him to leave because in his own words, "Mason has been a great programmer since he got hired." In 2039, NASA needed new astronauts and Mason Argall knew this was the right opportunity so he left ESA, joined NASA, and he was actually hired!
Chapter 2
It is 2040, and Mason has been astronaut for about a year! They were going aboard the DSUES-18 (Deep Space Universe Earth Searcher) which had 5 segments and a chamber. Segment 5 was literally a fuel storer! Here's how the refueling system works. First, the DSUES-18 has low fuel. Then since Aluminum has an atomic number of 13, the machines [In segment 5] just need to move five atoms into the chamber to turn it into Oxygen. Next, the liquifying machine liquifies the Oxygen. Finally, the liquid Oxygen is transported to the fuel tank! Segment 3 had a codename "The Super Segment!" The DSUES-18 was technically segment 1, which was the actual spacecraft and the all the other segments looked like parts of a mini rocket. They remade Voyager 1 and mounted it on the ship! There was the official flag of Earth also on the ship. There was a robotic arm mounted on the ship too. Mason was a little nervous but he had Canadian astronaut Norvell Kendall, Japanese astronaut Misako Nichol, and a few other astronauts with him. "10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." said someone in Mission Control. "And we have LIFTOFF!" It was Alessandro Rodrigo, a Hispanic man working in Mission Control at NASA. C++ programmer Gary at NASA waved goodbye before the spacecraft launched. Mason almost felt bad for him. There mission was to go to planet 12936. Meanwhile, while Norvell was eating cornflakes, and Misako was testing the robotic arm, the spacecraft launched off into space, and segment 4 mysteriously broke off! The segment tumbled through the air at a 50 degree angle and exploded! Noone on the spaceship noticed. Instead, they carried on with their journey, not knowing disaster was about to strike.
Chapter 3
"Initiate hyperdrive!" said the pilot. Whoosh! But there was a problem... Meanwhile, at Houston, something bad happened. "We have lost signal! We have lost signal!" said Alessandro Rodrigo, a few hours after all of the systems of segment 5 failed. More danger was about to commence. As I, the narrator, mentioned earlier that their was a problem, Well, when the pilot initiated hyperdrive, he forgot a detail. Hyperdrive stability was controlled using computers in segment 4, and it broke off of the DSUES-18 in Chapter 2! so when the pilot initiated hyperdrive, it was unstable! And that causes a systematical manifold that stalls out the spacecraft! The DSUES-18 was tumbling through space, but was eventually stopped by planet 12935's burning atmosphere. They reached their destination - planet 12936, but could not find a way home. The DSUES-18 was now floating aimlessly in space. "Damn!" said the captain.
