Hello.
It's me, Darren.
Usually, I make fictional stories to make you laugh,
But I haven't been on blogger or blogpost for a long time now,
So, I figured I would make a true story about what happened at school.
Enjoy!
It all started when I was at lunch the other day with my friends. We were talking about which kid was single and which wasn't. (Don't ask me why. This just proves that we are not ordinary 4th grade boys.) Then I pointed at Brayden and said, "I know who isn't single!" Then Cliff said "Did you just hear that, Brayden? According to Darren, you and Ashlyn are dating!" It was obvious I was talking about Ashlyn. A few days before this, Cliff whispered into my ear something. I don't remember what he whispered to me exactly, but it was either something about Brayden and Ashlyn dating or Brayden and Ashlyn kissing. Back at lunch, Brayden pointed at me and said, "You like her." Word spread about me having a crush on Ashlyn. It was quite true, actually. (DON'T. TELL. ANYONE.) Then yesterday at recess everyone was talking about this new kid. His name was June. Most the boys and some of the girls (One of the girls was Ashlyn) gathered around the swings to talk about the new kid. The boys said he was way too attractive to the girls (Like I said, we're not ordinary 4th graders.) Most of the kids agreed that the new kid was gay (In a bad way, of course) In my specials group we have strings on Monday and music on Wednesday. Since music and strings are in the trailer for the whole school, they are shortened to 45 minutes instead of 1 hour. The other 15 minutes we get a special recess time. During that time, I asked the teachers where June was. I really wanted to meet him in person! At lunch, June was sitting at the table next to where my friends and I sat at. He said that he wouldn't sit at our table even if his life depended on it. Since Ashlyn called him gay as an insult yesterday, I thought they wouldn't sit next to each other. I was relieved for a moment. Then I said something about Ashlyn and June in a soft voice. One of my fears was that June and Ashlyn were sitting next to each other. Then that fear came true. I was eating my lunch when I saw you-know-who sitting next to Ashlyn. Apparently Nicolas saw it before me because he yelled to me "Ooh, he just stole your girl. What are gonna do about it?" On the outside I tried to stay cool, calm, and collected. On the inside I feltNobody knows why June is so attractive to girls, even after calling him gay. (By the way, he isn't gay.) And by the way, after Nicolas said that, there was a riot and I was likewhich is why I'm not mad anymore. This is Darren, signing off.
